Pamelya Herndon currently serves as the President/CEO of the KWH Law Center for Social Justice and Change, a nonprofit law center focused on strengthening and supporting the well-being of women, families with children and communities in the South and Southwest by promoting racial and gender equity, and economic, educational and healthcare equity. The Law Center also engages with, supports, and collaborates with organizations throughout the United States and the world, with similar missions.

Pamelya is a former New Mexico State Government General Counsel and Deputy Cabinet Secretary. She is a graduate of the Howard University School of Business and the University Texas School of Law. Pamelya is licensed to practice law in the states of New Mexico and Colorado, and she is licensed as a certified public accountant in Texas.

Alfred Dennis Mathewson is Dean Emeritus of the University of New Mexico School of Law. Dean Mathewson is currently a member of the UNM Interdisciplinary Working Group on Algorithmic Justice, a collaborative effort among faculty from UNM Computer Science, Political Science, Law School, Center for Social Policy, and the Santa Fe Institute. The group identifies mathematical, computational, political, and legal implications of algorithms and data that determine the fate of people in the criminal justice system and other public sectors. He is known in sports law for his work on Title IX and its application to African American female athletes.

Dean Mathewson continues to work on access to law schools and the legal profession for students from underserved communities, and access to legal services for people in underserved communities. He advocates and participates in pipeline programs for youth.

Amy Miller is the President/Owner of AMM Consulting, an organization focused on helping not-for-profit and governmental organizations get connected and get heard. Ms. Miller delivers management level expertise, enhanced by an external perspective and actionable solutions, in key areas including strategic planning, public policy research and development, internal and external communications, and external relations and stakeholder outreach. She has extensive experience in energy and environmental issues.

Ms. Miller received her bachelor’s degree in Sociology/Journalism from the University of New Mexico and her Master’s Degree from the University of New Mexico School of Public Administration

Julia Brown currently serves as the City Manager of City of Sunland Park, New Mexico where she serves as the Chief Executive Officer helping the city obtain its mission of providing a superior quality of life for the citizens of Sunland Park through the development of natural, economic and cultural resources, with a more accountable, transparent efficient and effective government that encourages the involvement of its citizens. Ms. Brown also serves as Chairman of the Board of the American Association of University Women (AAUW), the nation’s leading voice promoting equity and education for women and girls. Ms. Brown uses her skill and creative resources to cultivate opportunities to help organizations achieve their organizational objectives.

Ms. Brown received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Oklahoma State University and her Law Degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law.
